Invincible United’s manager, Vince, was surprisingly not angry after his team’s 2-1 defeat to Supa Strikas in their Super League game two weeks ago. The United manager stunned international media when he said, “We played good football… but you can’t win them all!”

In a press conference after the derby, the controversial coach wasn’t mad and didn’t blame the referee for his team’s defeat. This was one of the first times Vince was cool and collected and answered everyone’s questions.

“Everyone in the team was determined to do their best and put in 200% against Strikas. In football you win some… and you lose some,” he said.

Vince’s views stunned not just Supanews, but other reporters at the press conference. The United manager is not always media friendly and his comments left a lot to be said. And some assumed Vince was playing mind games.

“I was expecting him to start about Shakes… then the Super League Board… and of course blame Coach for using dirty tricks to win the game. However, I was totally amazed to hear him say what he said, especially after losing to his rivals,” said Futbol 360 reporter Ben Zed.

Supa Strikas’ Coach told Supanews maybe Vince was finally seeing what sportsmanship means. “I’m happy to see my rival being a sportsman… let’s just wait and see if he meant those words,” added Coach, who was in the middle of a training session.

Supanews will keep a close eye on the Invincible United manager… and if Vince is hiding anything, Supanews will find it!
